The South Tama Recreation Trail is being developed as a safe recreational walking, jogging, running and bicycling facility for the residents of the Tama-Toledo area and visitors to these communities. The trail is also intended to provide a safe route to and from nearby STC school district facilities (both existing and future facilities) for students and staff who wish to walk or bicycle to school and events.
Motorized vehicles are NOT permitted on the trail at any time except for authorized and clearly marked police and emergency response teams.
The trail is intended for pedestrian and bicycle traffic only. Horses are NOT permitted on the trail.
